Building Blooms

I used to like to build balsa wood airplane models when I was a boy. The frame was constructed from thin strips of balsa wood and when completed, was covered with tissue paper. So ... you (and I) can do this graphically on a computer using any of a number of 3D computer programs. I thought I’d try out an inexpensive (but I think very comprehensive) program called Shade 7 that originated in Japan (this is the first version to be marketed in English and marked with an E). My first really halfway-serious attempt to build a hibiscus bloom is shown below, frame-by-frame:

Once the framework is built, you can add the surfaces in any color you choose, for example,
blue, change its size and go for a spin:
